DESIGNING A BETTER FLAG FOR THE CITY OF NORMAN, OK
Respectfully, our city has a poorly designed flag. This is not a matter of style or personal preference, it is objectively flawed. It is also stifled by it being copyrighted. A well designed city flag can be a powerfully unifying symbol of civic pride and can lead to economic benefits.
With the plan to keep the current flag as a city government logo, a citizen led committee is working closely with city officials to crowd source flag designs, put them to a public vote and ultimately adopt a new flag for the City of Norman.
